Microsoft has released an emulator for WM5. Something for developers to use to help write code for the OS via their desktops, I imagine.

BargainPDA reviews WM5.0's new features.

They have hateful things to say about Windows Media Player 10, and ding the OS for really leaving Internet Explorer Mobile working poorly with image-heavy sites. I fully expect new browsers to show up soon to deal with that.
