Dear Sony: Bring PSN to PSP.

Here's a no-brainer for Sony. How about bringing the PlayStation Network to the PSP?

This might already be in the works given everyone clamoring for direct-to-PSP purchases and downloads of PS1 titles, but there are many features of PSN that would be really great to have on the PSP.

How about:

  • Reading and writing PSN messages from your PSP?
  • Text or voice chatting with PSN buddy list members.
  • Reading your PSN leaderboards for you, your buddies, and more from the PSP.
  • How about that internet email client you promised, hm Sony?
Just those few items would be most welcome on the PSP. My fingers are crossed, will Sony do it?

Phil Harrison says it's coming, gives no details.

James at Aeropause (our very own Salesmunn) notes that Phil Harrison says the PSP will get some sort of link into the PSN at some point. No details were given.

No details or launch date means it's good old Sony vaporware until it ships.
