5.2.5
We were upgraded to PHP 5.2.5 on November 8th.
5.2.2
This server has made the leap from PHP 4 to PHP 5 with the installation of PHP 5.2.2.
The most immediate configuration change required exploding the amount of maximum memory that PHP could use from 8MB to 32MB. I tried 20MB and the gallery subsystem died trying to grab more. If you see any memory allocation errors or any other strangeness, let me know.
4.4.7
PHP 4.4.7 is now installed. Figured they'd put out a new security-related release just after I put in the previous one.
4.4.6
PHP 4.4.6 has been installed. I'm eyeing installing 5.x pretty soon just to see how it goes.
4.4.4
PHP 4.4.4 is now installed.
PHP 4.4.3
I've upgraded this server to PHP 4.4.3, which includes some security fixes listed in the release announcement.
4.4.2
PHP 4.4.2 has been installed as a maintenance release with security fixes.
4.4.1
PHP 4.4.1 has been installed as a maintenance release with security fixes.
PHP 4.4.0
PHP 4.4.0 has been installed and includes some security fixes.
4.3.11
PHP has been upgraded to version 4.3.11. See this change log if you want to know what was fixed from the previous version.
4.3.10
PHP has been upgraded with an additional module allowing a more intelligent image rotation script. That script's being used in the upper left corner of the forums now, if you didn't notice.
The new script will let me specify other subfolders of larger images to choose from for the forum.
PHP 4.3.10
PHP 4.3.10 has been built and installed. This version includes bug fixes and some important security fixes.
4.3.8
PHP 4.3.8 has been installed with various security fixes. Yes, there is now a PHP 5.0.0 but it'll be a while until the software I run fully supports it, I think.
4.3.7
PHP has been upgraded from 4.3.6 to 4.3.7 today. This is mostly a bugfix release.
4.3.5
I've upgraded PHP to the brand new 4.3.5 bugfix release.
A side effect of this is that the Jabber status detection code is now broken. I've disabled it until I can fix its incompatibilities with the latest release. These incompatibilities stem from the use of non-strings in multi-dimensional arrays as the key. Strange thing to do, I know, but it used to work. Also note that I didn't write this code, I'm just fixing it.
