Fallen Star To Fly With Expansion Bundle

warhawk_icarusmk1_psblog_x350Dylan Jobe Gives Us A Peek

Dylan Jobe of Incognito does a deep dive into the Fallen Star expansion for Warhawk coming this week for 7.99 PlayStation Points. If you haven't jumped on Warhawk yet, you're in for a treat if you take the plunge when the expansion launches this week. You'll be able to get the base game for 29.99 PlayStation Points -- it is a Greatest Hits game whether you buy the disc or download version -- and all three expansions for the price of two of them at just 15.99 PlayStation Points.

The post over at the PlayStation Blog not only describes how the new jetpack works in detail but it also talks about the new Tau Crater map, how players get the jetpack, and it even details the results of some of their testing: No you can't tow the jetpack-making Daedalus around the map and yes you can carry a flag with the pack and even jump from a moving Warhawk -- the signature aircraft can carry a passenger you know -- to invade an enemy base. All that fun isn't just for Tau Crater either. All of the other maps have been retrofitted with the jetpack with new layouts over the same terrain to play in.

Throw in the new Collector game mode and support for the Jetpack in the other game modes and you've got quite a lot of work stuffed into an $8, oops I mean 7.99 PlayStation Point add-on. Got questions for Dylan? Hit the thread over at the PlayStation Blog and he'll answer as best he can.
