NSA Wiretapping Suits vs Telecom Companies Halted

A federal judge has recognized admendments to the FISA act passed in 2008 that legalized warrantless wiretapping, throwing out a number of lawsuits against telecom companies that were, as they say, just following orders.

CNet has the full details, but on WNYC radio this morning I did hear that suits against the government over the legality of the wiretaps are still valid.
