Metal Gear Online Expansion Remembers To Make Us Smile

metalgearonline_soldierWhile I greatly enjoyed Metal Gear Solid 4 and don't regret owning it one bit, I haven't put time into the online game bundled in, Metal Gear Online. I've patched it up and I've played a quick training or two, but for something that looks so good and plays in such a well-defined and familiar universe I just haven't had the urge to play it. Granted, I'm not the average gamer anymore with my other responsibilities, but still, I do need to give it a fair shake sometime.

One thing that Konami remembers to do aside from show off the new environments, two unique characters -- Raiden and Vamp no less -- and new gear, is have a sense of humor. The realistic-feeling combat is capped with a couple of moments that give a good chuckle. The trailer for SCENE, the third expansion for MGO, is available after the jump.

MGO Beta Crushing Konami ID Site

Like many others, I downloaded the MGO Beta from the UK Playstation Store last night and left my PS3 online all night to download and upload the 1.10 patch via their P2P option.
